My super overdue post: LUSH and Haul

So here is my long overdue post that I was supposed to complete weeks ago lol. I purchased some masks from

The top one is the Bright up nano eye mask. It states that it eliminates dark circles and tightens eye zone. Includes 7 pairs, cost $6.40 USD. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll let you know if it does as it states. The reviews seem to be quite good so I am looking forward to not looking like a panda anymore :P

The bottom package is the My Beauty Diary Pinky Tender Mini Set and costs $16.00 USD. It includes the Japanese Cherry BlossomMask x4, Bulgarian White Rose Mask x 4, White Truffle Fantastic Whitening Mask x1, and a small tube of the Skin 79 BB cream ^_^

I have already tried the Japanese Cherry blossom mask and I was satisfied with it. Not overly satisfied, just satisfied if that makes sense lol. It was hydrating, but I didn't really notice a difference on my skin, even though I left it on my skin longer than recommended. Oh btw..I'm still looking for a really good moisturizer that contains SPF, so if you have any suggestions, pass them my way!

So I had to go to vancouver for work and ended up purchasing some items from LUSH as I was waiting in the airport! >_<

I ended up getting an exfoliator: Ocean Salt and a moisturizer: Imperialis. I tried both items in store and it seemed quite nice so I bought both.

The Ocean salt comes unmixed. It states on the tub: "We take the time and the coconut (and grapefruit and sea salt) and mix them up together in our stimulating, fruity, vodka-based face scrub. For a complexion that glows." 120 g $17.95 CAD

I haven't used the the Ocean salt yet, but I have used the moisturizer while I was on my trip

The girl stated that this tub should last me for approx 4 months..not bad, not bad I thought. It is very hydrating and I am very, very pleased with how it leaves my skin. I just wish it had some SPF in it. It states on the tub: "Made with lavender, orange flowers and tiger lilies to create well balanced skin. Good for faces that are oily in places and dry in others or a troublesome T-zone." 45 g.

Also received a free shampoo sample :)

I'm super excited to try out the masks and the BB cream....Once things start to settle down, I'm going to give myself a personal day, relax and let my skin absorb what there is to offer in those ever so popular Beauty Diary Masks ^^

UNII Palette

So when I started my obsession with makeup/cosmetics, I went to Youtube for many 'how-to' videos and reviews of products. One guru I came across was Leanne (meepocow) on Youtube. I subscribed to her because she's from Toronto and she gives a lot of good info on products. She had a giveaway several weeks ago - it was for a UNII Palette. I entered the giveaway and I actually won! (wow lol)

So I was sent a free UNII Palette :)

From their website:"The UNII palette magnetically stores multiple brands of makeup pans, whether it's Mac, Stila, Bobbi Brown and more! Now, all your favorite brands can be stored neatly in the UNII Palette. Say goodbye to makeup clutter!"

The base of the palette is all magnetic and it includes a thumb grip for easier hold of the palette. (btw, you can place the thumb grip wherever you want it to). The other side of the palette is a big huge mirror. The palette itself is quite sturdy and is very well constructed.

And it also includes magnetic strips so that you can cut them and attach them to items that are not magnetic. I was pleased to see this as I was thinking I had to go to the dollarstore to purchase some on my own :)

It has a really great clasp that closes the palette quite tightly so that nothing will fall out. If you visit the website you can see how others are using their UNII palette

Overall, I'm really pleased with this product! Now I gotta fill my palette - hm..I sense a trip to the shopping mall soon ;)

Eki Love

So I finally bought something from! I have been eying so many things from Eki's website and finally decided to get something small. When I saw the rings on her website, I had to get one!

Btw, for those of you who don't know Eki, she's a big guru - She's got her own blog, does some YT and she has her own online store where she makes really pretty jewelry, accessories (like pouches), and hair accessories as well! She's SO talented ^^ To visit her blog, click here. The first time I came across her blog, I spent so much time going through all of her posts lol They're really informative and are filled with great photos!

So she sent me these great extras!

The maccha candy was SO good :) The ring is really light (which I like) and pretty too - it will go with pretty much anything I wear. My next purchase will definitely be one of her bracelets (they're so pretty)! Go check her out when you have a chance ^_^
