So this short post is for those ppl that live in the Greater Toronto Area. I just read on redflagdeals.com that the Estee Lauder/Mac warehouse sale will be located at the Markham Fairground on March 5 - 7 /2010!

Anyone know how to obtain tickets? I hear some ppl sell them on kijiji or craigslist, but I dont know if I fully trust that :(

Sephora, Aveda, Drugstore Haul

So after hearing that Cargo products are 50% off due to the fact that it will be phased out from the Sephora stores, I went online to see what was left. Here is what I ended up purchasing:

(sorry for the blurry photos)
- Blu-ray pressed powder in Beige
- Reverse Lipliner in 01 Light
- Beach Blush in Sunset Beach

I also entered the coupon code "BERARE" and got a free 10-day trial bareminerals SPF 15 foundation
Unfortunately I purchased the Benefit's To Go Beauty Bestsellers ($11 CAD) like 2 days before finding out about the Cargo :( Anyways, I entered the coupon code "GLITTER" and got a Glitter Shimmer Pot in silver for free. You can choose between gold and silver (sorry about the blurry photos, my other camera's battery needs charging)

Recently, I went to a warehouse sale for Aveda in Toronto. When I got there, it wasn't really a wearhouse lol..it was just a regular store with some sale items. Anyways, I still think it was a great sale as I purchased some items. I got the Caribbean Rejuvenation package for $21.75 (at 40% off). I also purchased lipstick and some glitter, but forgot to take the photo :\ I'm really in love with the scent of this collection ..mmm

I also went to Pharmaplus to check out if they had the Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in stock..and they did! I was quite surprised. They currently have a promo going on:

So I purchased the photoready and the lady at the counter (cosmetician?) came up to me and was telling me that I should purchase a new cleanser or moisturizer because my skin was dry lol :\ I ended up getting the Bioderma Sensibio H20. I read some good reviews on Makeupalley.com, so I'm happy about the purchase. Apparently this product was showcased on the news recently and they were sold out for a while..hm..
As for the photoReady - not bad..feels light on the skin and the sparkles aren't bad at all. If you look closely at my eyelids you can notice them, but it's really not that bad. I think I should have gotten a shade lighter though. I'm thinking it will work out better for my summer skin :)

Skin Food Mushroom Multicare BB Cream SPF 20

Skin Food Mushroom Multicare BB Cream SPF 20 Shade 1 - Triple Function: Whitening, Anti-Aging, and Sun Block

So I purchased this BB cream off of ebay for only $10 CAD or so. This is what is states on the packaging: "A triple functional BB cream that contains skin friendly aloe & mushroom extract, adenosine and arbutin that helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and promotes a brighter, more radiant complextion with UV protection properties. [KFDA certified triple functional product]". This is what it looks like on my skin:

The cream is really easy to blend and the consistency is not too thick. The coverage is minimal, but it's good for those days you don't really feel like wearing any make up. I like the fact that it has UV protection as well. The scent is ok, but after awhile, it was quite over powering (for me). Unfortunately after about 1-2 hours my face was so oily :( I didn't wear any primer or anything underneath it and I didn't wear any foundation on top of it. I think I'm going to have to try it a couple of more times before deciding if I like it or not. I think I will continue to use it for those days I just want something light on my face.

Have you tried BB creams before? What are some of your favourites?
